Habitat destruction
This is when the factors within a habitat are destroyed. As organisms depend upon those factors for survival, it is crucial that this is stopped. Examples include:
Land clearing, mining, logging etc
Even though this is a human impact on habitats, it does not necessarily mean it will destroy habitats forever. They can always be repaired if there are enough resources and knowledge of the environment.

Overcropping
Overcropping means the killing of animal species in an environment, or habitat. In some cases, the killing of animals is so extreme, that it is hard to them to reproduce and keep the species going. Overcropping usually results in a decline in numbers. An example is the whale, which is a very good example of overcropping.
